LPM Albariño 2021

2021 La Petite Mort Albariño comes from the very first platings of this variety in QLD (and one of the first in Australia). As such, it's a very new and exciting variety that shows great promise here in the Granite Belt. Hailing originally from norther Spain and Portugal, Albariño is typically made in a fruit-driven style and retains fresh natural acidity, even in warmer climes, making it a great Savvy-B alternative.

Expect soft tropical and stone fruits up front - guava, nectarine, white peach - with some pithy green melon rind bringing a refreshing hint of greenness. The palate is light, yet textural with a balance of crisp acidity and creaminess. This wine love freshly grilled seafood!
